MINIBALL/ BASKETBALL
Please check that you have read the information carefully on the seasonal timing of your child’s chosen sport. If you are applying outside the season’s deadlines, you will need to put your child on the waiting list instead.
Season |
Game Time and Training Sessions |
The miniball season is throughout the year. There are 2 semesters; Semester 1 is from Terms 1-2 and Semester 2 is from Terms 3-4. As the semester usually starts in the second week of Term 1, teams are formed by early November of the year before. Please be advised that if you are registering your child at the start of the year, unless there are enough children on the waiting list to form a new team, your child will have to wait until the following year. This is because there is almost a zero drop out rate between the first and second semesters.
|
Games are always played after school at the Breakers. Year 1-2 teams play on Mondays, the other year levels will play on a set week day confirmed before the start of the season. Training is in the hall once a week before school, depending on the coach and team availability.
